DevOps Engineer

Overview

About the role

As a DevOps Engineer at Swarms, you will own how our software ships and how it stays up. You will build the pipelines that deploy the Swarms API, Swarms Cloud, the Marketplace, and our open source frameworks, and you will make sure each of them is observable, secure, and fast to recover. Note: all developer roles require 3 PRs or 3 new issues on the swarms GitHub before applying.

Responsibilities

What you'll do

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for the Swarms API, Swarms Cloud, and the Marketplace
• Automate infrastructure with code and keep environments reproducible
• Set up monitoring, alerting, and on-call practices, and lead incident reviews
• Harden deployments: secrets management, access control, and dependency updates
• Cut build times, deploy times, and cloud costs across the stack
• Support releases of the Python and Rust frameworks, including packaging and publishing

Requirements

You may be a fit if

• You have 3+ years of DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering experience
• You have strong experience with CI/CD, containers, and at least one major cloud platform
• You write infrastructure as code and treat deploys as something to automate away
• You have run production systems with real uptime targets and been on call for them
• You like working close to the code and can read Python, TypeScript, or Rust
• You have contributed 3 PRs or opened 3 new issues on the swarms GitHub (github.com/kyegomez/swarms)
